This Biowatch webinar explored opportunities for agroecology in South Africa’s National School Nutrition Programme (NSNP) – including a focus on national policy, roll-out in KwaZulu-Natal, and a snapshot of children’s and school views.
Facilitated by Vanessa Black, Biowatch’s Advocacy and Research Manager, presenters were: Rose Williams, Biowatch Director; Stha Yeni, researcher and development practitioner specialising in land, food and water justice (and author of the Biowatch Research Paper presented in the webinar); and Lihle Ngobese, Biowatch Children’s Agroecology Project.
