We are very excited to announce the much-anticipated South African premiere of The Last Seed, a documentary feature film on the struggle for the control of seeds in Africa, produced by Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung in association with Biowatch SA, AFSA and PELUM Tanzania.
The premiere, taking place in Cape Town on 2 May, will include a discussion on the problems in our food system, and the importance of farmer-led seed systems and agroecology.
The Last Seed, which has been submitted to a number of international film festivals, will soon be available on streaming services and for public viewing. We’ll share the links as soon as they are available.
